This 1972 BMW 3.0 CS is finished in Polaris Metallic over dark blue leather and is powered by a 3.0-liter M30 inline-six paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include a sunroof, a Nardi steering wheel, an Alpine cassette player, power windows, dual Weber carburetors, and 14″ alloy wheels.
The car was delivered new in Polaris Metallic (60) and features a pillarless roofline and a manually-operated sunroof. Additional features include quad headlights, chrome bumpers, fender vents, bright moldings, 3.0 CS rear badging, and a single exhaust outlet.
14″ alloy wheels are finished in silver and wear polished center caps with Roundels, and they are mounted with 195/70 Michelin Energy MXV4 tires showing 2016 date codes. A matching spare fitted with an older Michelin radial is stored in the trunk, and braking is handled by four-wheel discs.
The cabin features seats upholstered in blue leather with matching door cards and carpeting, a black dashboard and center stack surfaces, and wood trim. The factory radio has been replaced with an Alpine cassette stereo, and a wood-rimmed Nardi steering wheel replaces the stock component.
Stock VDO instrumentation includes a 150-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,400-rpm redline, as well as a clock and a combination gauge for coolant temperature and fuel level.
The odometer reads 69,733 miles or 111,573 kms.
The 3.0-liter M30 inline-six is equipped with dual Weber carburetors and was factory rated at 180 horsepower, which is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission.
