This 1995 BMW M3 Lightweight is one of 126 examples built for the single model year and is finished in Alpine White over black cloth upholstery. 

All M3 Lightweight examples featured slicktop roof panels and aluminum door skins, and they were finished in Alpine White. This example features tri-color Motorsport flag decals on the left-front and right-rear corners as well as a raised rear wing and an adjustable front splitter. 

Forged alloy 17″ Style 24 BMW Motorsport wheels are mounted with 235/40 Yokohama Advan Fleva tires. The M3 Lightweight featured springs from the European-spec M3 that were shorter than the US-market versions. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes.

The cabin features manually-adjustable sport seats trimmed in black cloth with patterned inserts. Additional equipment includes power windows, central locking, and carbon-fiber trim on the dashboard and center console.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and instant fuel economy. 

The digital odometer shows 88,367 miles or 141,387 kms.

The S50B30US 3.0-liter inline-six features two-stage VANOS valve timing and was factory rated at 240 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque when new.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. An aftermarket exhaust system has been fitted.

The CARFAX report shows history in Michigan and South Dakota from 1995 to 2022, and lists no accidents or other damage.The vehicle was acquired by Auto West BMW Classic Garage & imported into British Columbia, Canada in May 2023.
